Terms & Conditions
THE COMPANY: "Museums & Galleries Marketing Ltd." henceforth referred to as "MGML".
NEW ACCOUNTS : Bank and two trade references are required to open a credit account. The registered address of limited companies must be shown. References will be taken up before orders can be processed. Urgent new orders can be processed on pro-forma terms prior to a credit account being opened. Payments in Sterling, U.S. Dollars or Euro.
CARRIAGE: A carriage paid order is £175 invoice value (excluding VAT) delivered within the U.K. mainland (£125 if single cello-packed greeting cards only). A charge of £10 will be made on all orders below this value. The carriage paid order delivered within the U.K. but outside of the mainland (including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, I.O.M. and the Scottish Islands) is £300 invoice value, except I.O,W, which is £200. Carriage will be charged at cost on all orders below these values. Backorders over £50 net value will be sent carriage free within the UK. An order balance of less than £50 net value will be cancelled unless an administration charge of £10 is agreed. All export prices ex-works Frome.
PRICES: We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
STOCK: Supplied subject to availability.
PAYMENT: Nett 28 days. We are legally entitled to charge interest on overdue amounts.
ORDERS: We reserve the right, having accepted an order in good faith, to reclaim administrative costs due to unwarranted, erroneous or misleading order information that is wholly the responsibility of the client.
RETENTION OF TITLES AND RISK: Until MGML has been paid in full for goods supplied, the property of such goods shall remain ours, although the risk passes to the purchaser on delivery. If the purchaser fails to pay for the goods on the due date or commits any act of bankruptcy, or in the case of a company if any resolution is passed or petition to wind up the company is made, or if a receiver is appointed of the purchasers undertaking, MGML shall be entitled (without prejudice to any other remedy available) to recover possession of the goods at any time from the purchaser and for that purpose its servants or agents may enter upon any land or buildings of the customer upon which the goods are situated to effect recovery without let or hindrance.
CREDIT: Credit for damaged or faulty goods or for shortages will not be issued unless notice is given in writing within 7 days of delivery received. Written approval must be given by MGML for any returned goods to facilitate warehouse acceptance.
COPYRIGHT: in images rests with the institutions concerned. Design copyright rests with MGML. Reproduction of any product or image without our express permission in writing is strictly prohibited.
THE MUSEUMS & GALLERIES STUDIO: All design work, mock-ups or prototypes are ©MGML and remain the sole property of MGML. Design and research fees will be raised if our work is used without written permission.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION: Customer information will be stored by the company and credit information may be shared for monitoring and administration purposes with our representative body The Giftware Association and with other members of the GA.
